The Elder Scrolls 6 Dominion Redguard Aftermath Of Skyrim DLC

Due to recent developments we do believe the next The Elder Scrolls game will be set in Hammerfell.

A few reasons for this.
First they trademarked “Redguard” and if they don’t use that for a Skyrim expansion or something else (which is now unlikely as the beth team have moved on to their next project) then i’ll bet its on The Elder Scrolls 6.
Its very similar to when they trademarked Skyrim a while back before the game was announced.
I also feel that with Redguard they have a lot more lore to go by which was part of their reasoning behind choosing Skyrim for The Elder Scrolls V.
Its also where the main fighting with the Aldmeri Dominion has been, and I would not be surprised if the Empire fell and then the Aldmeri Dominion focuses all its attention on Hammerfell as the next game begins.
Its also a region that would provide completely different environment types from Skyrim, more so than many other provinces I feel.
Sure Black Marsh for example has some very interesting environments such as swamp lands, jungle like, and so forth but I don’t think they would be attempting something like that yet.
Graphically speaking, a jungle environment would take allot more work to get right and Bethesda would prob need to know the next generation consoles better by then, in order to see what they are capable of producing.
The only aspect I am not sure on is when Todd Howard said once that they would always want to do something new, essentially, not doing stuff they already have done.
And technically Hammerfell was within the game “Daggerfall” along with the province of Daggerfall, which makes me unsure.
If they trademark another province name or use Redguard for something else, then this opinion will go out the window.

Diablo 3 PvP mode unsatisfactory,needs to be improved

Nearly a year after Blizzard declared that the game mode was not meeting expectations, lead designer Kevin Martens has offered an update of sorts as to why PvP has yet to see the light of day.
Though Blizzard has released Diablo 3 on consoles and is inching closer to completing the Reaper of Souls expansion, the long-delayed PvP mode still appears to be a long way off.
“The reason why it’s difficult to do PvP, is that we made a vast PvE game,” Martens tells AusGamers. “The core fantasy for us was ‘I want to kill lots of monsters in lots of awesome ways.’ You can’t kill lots of players in those awesome ways, or lots of players will get ticked off because they have the exact same fantasy as you, and they want to kill you in vast ways, so essentially, the game is automatically changing.”
Martens adds that each character varies in terms of power and gear and that the Diablo team hasn’t had the experience of balancing players against other players. Because overpowered characters often lead to quick deaths, the team determined that the PvP mode as it was structured was simply not fun.
Martens also rules out the idea of selecting pre-made characters. “People say ‘well, why not make pre-made characters? Give me two different Barbs I can chose from, and that’s my PvP Barb,’ but that’s not your PvP Barb, that’s some random one. If your gear doesn’t matter, and this game is about killing monsters and getting loot, what we’re actually making is a different game.”
That’s not to say that Blizzard has given up on the idea of PvP entirely. Martens says that the team is still working on a PvP mode that utilizes player-built heroes.

Final Fantasy XIV tops 1.5M registered users

Final Fantasy XIV is going strong even with the subscription-only model, topping 1,500,000 registered users this week according to Famitsu. Of course, “registered user” is a murky term that may or may not apply to active players, but it’s still a figure worth noting.
The reborn title also is in the midst of its All Saints’ Wake in-game holiday. Check out the website’s lore for the event, and then head in-game to speak to a member of one of the shifty traveling troupes to get a special quest during this spooky time of year. All Saints’ Wake will continue until November 1st, and our own Eliot will be talking about it in-depth in his column tomorrow.
Why must they always post registered users?That doesn’t say how many of them bought the game, unless that’s what registered users is supposed to mean.  For all we know, registered users could just be the people who created Square Enix accounts for FFXIV Gil.
Still, good for FFXIV.  Maybe it’ll be able to help make a comeback with the subscription market. Registered larger population base, on the other hand can also react in a favorable Final Fantasy XIV environment, it’s like ten people if there is a good man, then there will be one hundred one thousand people, I am I do not know you understand metaphor

Future Prospects for Final Fantasy XIV

Some of these issues probably just come down to the fact that we did just get a whole new version of the game less than two months ago, and the development team had only so much time to add new stuff to the game with the first patch containing a huge pile of stuff. So this was always going to be a little bit of a wash; there’s only so much you can do.
Part of the problem, though, is a lack of ambition. The holiday events are structured so that no one winds up needing to go out of the way to try something, and the whole thing is accessible as long as you’ve hit level 15 on one job (something that is about as challenging as falling asleep on NyQuil). And while accessibility is nice, it’s not the only thing that matters.
I’ve stated that I like Final Fantasy XIV’s current endgame, and I do, but part of Buy FFXIV Gil the fun of holiday events is that you have something to pull in a different direction for a little while. Spice up an old dungeon or two; give us something new to deal with. Haukke Manor could hold an optional boss with minimal effort; it fits with the holiday, and because of how level sync works, it could legitimately be done with almost any setup of players. Or even just a roaming set of FATEs, something to chase — give us something to keep our interest beyond the first few moments of the holiday.

Diablo III dev blog demystifies the Mystic

Diablo III’s latest dev blog unveils more tasty information about a new artisan NPC, the Mystic, coming to the game in the Reaper of Souls expansion. As many Diablo III fans are undoubtedly aware, Reaper of Souls will mark the introduction of a set of features, known colloquially as Loot 2.0, which aims to rebalance Diablo III’s loot and item systems in an effort to make loot more interesting to players. The Mystic is an integral part of this effort thanks to her unique skills of enchanting and transmogrification.
Through Enchantment, the Mystic is capable of rerolling a single property on a piece of equipment, making her the go-to artisan for those items that are almost-but-not-quite perfect. While you can choose only a single property to reroll on each item, that property can be rerolled as many times as you can Buy Runescape Gold afford. Don’t worry about buyer’s remorse, though; if the newly rolled property is worse than the old one, the Mystic can reverse the process. Final Fantasy XIV :A letter from the producer ,LI

Hello again, all you FFXIVers out there! Yoshi-P here, bringing you my fifty-first Letter from the Producer.
 
It’s already been a month and a half since release, and after adding several new Worlds, optimizing the servers, and expanding the data centers, it’s full speed ahead for the development team as we prepare for the first big patch.
Looking over data from each World, it’s great to see so many players in every level range. Whether it’s exploring the nooks and crannies of Eorzea, chasing after FATE, braving through dungeons for Allagan tomestomes, or taking on the Binding Coil of Bahamut, everyone seems to be settling into their own play style as they find their place in the community.
As for myself, I’ve finally defeated Titan in the main story, and am now in snowswept Coerthas. I’ve been going it incognito on the public servers, and it’s been a lot of fun playing with you all. I can never resist a shout for help to venture through lower level dungeons, so it’ll probably be a while before I reach end game.
Speaking of end game, I’d like to take a moment to address our players who have completed the main scenario, and are now working to complete relic quests and fight against the hard-mode primals. We realize how difficult it’s been to acquire tomestones and have taken measures to alleviate this problem. Although we had a few setbacks necessitating an extension of the planned FFXIV Gil maintenance on October 15, as well as a subsequent emergency maintenance, we’ve added additional instance servers for Amdapor Keep as well as the Wanderer’s Palace. We’ve also increased the number of tomestones obtainable in these dungeons, and made adjustments to gil received from within. Patch 2.1 will introduce even more ways to accumulate tomes, so please bear with us.
End game players have also encountered problems with the fifth turn of the Binding Coil of Bahamut. This issue was to be addressed with the patch on October 15, but unfortunately we’ve confirmed that the problem still persists. Please rest assured we are working diligently to resolve this issue so that players can resume play in this instance as soon as possible.
Our first update will be fairly substantial, and can be divided into three key parts. First and foremost, we want players to have more options to enjoy themselves in Eorzea. We’ll be introducing daily quests and treasure hunts for those looking to play solo, and various system adjustments will make it easier to obtain Allagan tomestones of philosophy and mythology with your party mates. You can also expect to see new dungeons, the Crystal Tower, extreme primal battles, and the return of Good King Moggle Mog. There’s also housing and the Wolves’ Den to look forward to, both of which are being fine-tuned and debugged as we speak.
Second, we’ll be implementing feedback from you, the players. Not only will the user interface be updated, but we’ll also be adding an item-sort function, item level restrictions on the Duty Finder, the MVP system, and a number of other new features.
Last but certainly not least, we’ll be introducing the salon where players can customize character features such as hair and face paint, and a party search function for individual Worlds. This wouldn’t be a FINAL FANTASY if it didn’t have a story, so expect to see new developments in the main scenario, and perhaps even the return of a certain someone from Version 1.0.
More details will be revealed during the upcoming LIVE letters. I’m planning to host one every month up until the release of 2.1, and I hope you tune in to all of them!

Elder Scrolls Online’s character creation improves on Skyrim

ZeniMax Online Studios and sister firm Bethesda Softworks are teasing some robust new tools in ESO’s character-building engine, showing how the developers have overhauled the entire system to let players drastically tweak their heroes’ faces, bodies, and features.
Many people credit The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as one of the best role-playing games in its genre, but, arguably, its character-creation system could have more options.
The variety appears far deeper than Skyrim’s offering, where characters’ bodies were generally the same size and shape regardless of species, gender, and skin color.
By far, the biggest change is in characters’ bodies. Skyrim simply allows players to adjust a character’s weight just a few notches, which can only make the uniformly skinny characters slightly more broad.
ESO improves on that by letting you tweak body types (thin, large, muscular), body markings, height, torso size, chest size, gut size, waist size, arm size, hand size, hip size, posterior dimensions, leg size, and foot size. Every single one of those is a brand new option.
“For the body, we wanted players to really define their physique. So, you can create Cheap FFXIV Gil an overweight character or a skinny character; you can adjust the height no matter what race you are,” explains art director Jared Carr in a video from ZeniMax Online that details the system .
These updates make sense. The Elder Scrolls Online is primarily a third-person-perspective adventure, so gamers will be far more aware of their warriors’ looks.
