Trying to figure out what’s the best class in Diablo 3? Wondering what class you should pick as your first one to hit Diablo 3 power leveling cap? Here’s some insight on each class that will help you to figure out what’s best for you. While I understand that every one wants to make the right choice, you must understand that there is no one perfect class for all. However, there can be one that works best for you. Now we know that it might take over two months to hit level 60 in Diablo 3 so it’s important to pick the right class first time itself. If you were lucky enough to participate in beta you would probably know by now what class you want to pick.
If after playing Beta you thought Demon Hunter was the worst class and Witch Doctor the best, then you might want to reconsider what you pick since you barely saw 1% of what’s going to ship on May 15. For those unfortunate ones who did not get a chance participate in beta, here are some thoughts on how classes work, how they affect player vs player and farming. Note that unlike other games, each and every class in Diablo 3 is well balanced, and is good enough to survive on its own. Barbarian and Monk are your two options if you like playing Melee classes. In other games you typically find that melee classes are slower at leveling up.
You also get good single target, area skills and status skills. You also get good escape skills that help save your ass and chase down enemies. So be it player vs monsters or player vs player, you are covered everywhere. Pick Barbarian if you like hard core action with powerful area skills and a range status skills and escape skills. It’s also the most popular class among all due to its powerful melee skills and tank nature. Barbarian is the best class for beginners as in my opinion its the easiest class to master. Monk is exceptionally good melee class as well, but the play style is a little different. You rely more on combos and status skills.
