Wow Mobile Armory Hack Shuts Down Auction House

This alleged mobile armory hack was discovered a few days ago when a forum post went

up asking how 200K gold escaped a user’s account. The US user in question had three

unauthorized auction house purchases for “white” (useless) quality items that

would normally be sold to a vendor for a few copper coins. Commenters made guesses

as to what the user could have done wrong to allow something like that to happen.

Did they attach an authenticator to their account? Did they have a good password?

Perhaps there was malware on their computer or phone?

In what people are calling a mobile armory hack, World of Warcraft Mobile Armory

users have literally watched as thousands of gold are swept away from them. They

watched it happen on their own phones. The Blizzard team has taken action by

shutting it all down. Here’s a tweet from Blizzard Customer Service that went out

this morning:
Monk Class
Greetings everyone. The Mobile Auction House will be unavailable until further

notice. No ETA as of yet. We’ll provide updates when we can.

The silver lining in this potential (alleged, supposed, rumored) mobile armory hack

is the track record that Blizzard has when this kind of thing happens. Once the dust

has settled and the software recoded, we will get an explanation of what happened

and people will get their gold back… and they will get to keep those level 1 axes.

Then reports came in of the same thing happening to others. UK users seemed to be

affected too. There was one thing everyone seemed to have in common: They all used

the mobile armory. This might be a huge coincidence as the armory app is free and

widely used, even if it just for trolling guild chat or showing your family your

awesome mog set. However the auction house is a very important tool used by all

kinds of players. Going through the forum comments, it looks like there were people

who actually watched on their phones as purchases were made on the auction house

from their account.

There is nothing conclusive stated from Blizzard that this is indeed a mobile armory

hack, but the evidence does point in that direction. At first it seemed that only a

few realms would see the mobile auction house shut down. Then, Bliz posted on their

Breaking News site that mobile auction house was down for emergency maintenance.

Now, it looks like it will be down for a prolonged period.

If it is indeed a mobile armory hack, what else can be done from the armory? Well,

everything you have that isn’t bound to your character could be sold, but that

doesn’t put all that much gold into potential gold sellers hands unless they hit

the jackpot with someone who hordes expensive items. Also, auctioning takes time

(minimum 12 hours) that hackers don’t have. They need to grab all the gold they can

before getting caught. The more likely situation is the continued purchasing of

cheap items for exorbitant amounts of your gold.

I’ll leave you with this: When I use the mobile armory auction house, it requires

me to automatically include an authenticator number. If someone has access to our

mobile armory, then do they potentially have access to our authenticators too?

Wow Mists of Pandaria Brings 1 Million Subscribers

It’s been a bit of a slow year for MMOs all around. Even MMO powerhouse World of

Warcraft hasn’t been immune, losing over 1 million subscribers in the past three

months. Then again, the fact that WoW could lose what’s essentially the size of the

player base of most other MMOs without going into panic mode is a testament of its

success.

And it looks like Blizzard has nothing to worry about in terms of player base. After

Mists of Pandaria, WoW’s latest expansion pack, released, it seems like Blizzard’s

managed to grab all of those subscriptions right back. Though Pandaria has only been

out for over a week, Blizzard’s managed to snatch up over 1 million subscriptions

during that time, putting WoW comfortably back over the 10 million subscribers mark.

The only concern now is how quickly veteran players, who re-subscribed only for the

new content, will burn through Mists of Pandaria. Will Blizzard manage to trot out

something new when the player base begins dropping out once again next year?

Ever since the release of Cataclysm, World of Warcraft has been taking quite some

heat and losing a fair number of its subscribers. With Diablo III coming in the near

future, Blizzard has revealed a new subscription plan that will help the company

hold on to its precious subscribers.

players to enter a 12-month subscription commitment. Luckily for players concerned

with breaking their banks, the plan lets players either pay on a monthly basis at

$14.99 per month or use a different billing plan of their choosing.

For current WoW subscribers, this means there won’t be much of a change other than

the fact that they won’t be able to cancel their account for a year. The commitment

could be a turn-off to some subscribers, but the rewards are definitely tempting.

For a limited time, WoW Annual Pass subscribers will get a digital version of Diablo

III for free, along with the new Tyrael’s Charger in-game mount. In addition,

subscribers will also be granted guaranteed access to the upcoming WoW Expansion

Beta Test.

Guild Wars 2 Upgrading and Defenses

The world is out in battle, between people, between nature and etc. War is the most prominent battle between people present. Along with the changes of The Times, the struggle between people is more and more big harm. The emergence of virtual game, can to a certain extent, make the person’s mood to get out.And Guild Wars 2 Gold related transactions.

To get to Toypocalypse you’ll need to travel to Lion’s Arch, at the north end of the Grand Plaza. Tixx is there (don’t forget to stop by and get your gift) and just to the right is a Seraph Soldier who is asking for recruits to stop the toy rampage going on inside the Infiniarium. Once inside you’ll have a few moments for the rest of your randomly formed party to team up and get into the map before the game starts.

In addition to building new defenses, any defense you build can be upgraded twice by taking the same object used to build it and bringing it to the defense. For example. If you want to upgrade a Catapult, you must bring another Scrap to it. If you want to upgrade a Snowman, bring more snow. Based on my first few play throughs, it seems upgrading is more cost effective than building new, but do be warned they don’t seem much harder to kill (with the exception of the wall, which gains HP as you level it).

Upgrading has one other huge benefit and that is that it restores the defense object to full health. If you see an object about to die, instead of building a 2nd turret next to it, upgrade the one on low health and you’ll get much more Return on that investment.

Your Dolyaks don’t heal up after each wave, but every couple of waves Hay spawns around the middle of the map that players can take to the Dolyaks to heal them. This is very important not to miss as your Dolyaks will take damage.

Guild Wars 2 explorable zone will have a number of skill challenges present

The root cause of most of the difficulties encountered when playing games is the lack of money, how to get enough money to become critical. And you do not have enough money, so you need to find a place to rest assured to Get Guild Wars 2 Gold.

Every explorable zone (both PvE and WvW) will have a number of skill challenges present that you can undertake as you travel through Tyria. You’ll be able to see how many skill challenges are present in a zone when you load in by looking at the loading screen, or by opening the map [M] while out exploring.

The skill challenge in Queensdale can be found east of the first skill challenge location (Scaver Plateau) on the west side of the Windloss Delves. On the top of a hill, there is a ruined building. If you go behind the building, you can jump/run up the ramp leading to the interior of the second story of the building. Here you’ll find Chhk the Windmill King.

To gain a skill point from this challenge, you’ll have to fight him. Ranged weapons work the best here as he does a whirlwind attack knocking everybody back that is in melee combat with him and causing damage.

The skill challenge in Queensdale is the Temple of the Ages, which is found in Godslost Swamp. This area is in the southeast portion of Queensdale. This skill challenge has a wrinkle in that it is located underwater. You’ll have to swim down and commune with the pillar of light to gain your skill point. However, the area has a Veteran Marsh Drake swimming around that you’ll have to defeat with your aquatic weapons.

This particular skill challenge also provides a nice lore hit for GW1 players, as you can see the statues from the original Temple while diving down to commune with the place of power. Given the history of the Temple, this also helps explain why so many portals to the Underworld are spawning throughout the swamp.

Overall, the vast majority of the skill challenges in Queensdale are not hard to get to and complete. The underwater location in the Godslost Swamp may provide some difficulty if you haven’t unlocked any of the attacks for your aquatic weapons outside of the base attack, while the centaur camp in the Taminn Foothills is difficult if you’re going it alone. Here the trust of platform, welcome to enter to meet Cheap GW2 Gold.
